Dear all,

Happy New Year! Greetings from New Zealand Connections Ltd!

It is with some sadness that I write to advise you that I will be closing the Hong Kong branch of New Zealand Connections Ltd. from 1 March 2009.  However, I will continue to operate out of the NZ branch, New Zealand Connections (H.K. & China) for the foreseeable future.

The main difference is that I will, sadly, no longer be able to act as your agent in the Hong Kong market.  This has been a hard decision for me to make as I have had so much pleasure working with you, our students, and New Zealand schools over the past 18 years but I have decided it is time to retire.

However, please rest assured you, and our current students, will continue to receive the same high level of attention, as in the past, until they graduate.  I will also be communicating student information personally to parents in Hong Kong as I intend making regular trips there.

I have also made the decision to live in New Zealand as two of my sons now live here and in Australia.  I am currently living in Lower Hutt and can be easily reached on:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving our students over the years such a good start to their adult life with your excellent teaching and the time spent integrating them into your school and community’s life.  This has enabled them to achieve to the best of their ability and to graduate with pride.

My company’s success over 18 years has in large part been due to the way you have valued our students and enabled them to grow, both formally and in a worldly sense, to a higher level than they might otherwise have achieved.  I have had a lot of satisfaction seeing them develop which has made my job such a pleasure.  I have also valued highly the relationship I have had with you and your school and will look back on the past two decades with considerable happiness and pride.

You have been a good friend to me and I would really like to thank you for all your support over the years.
